The GUBA Foundation, represented by Gertrude Asumadu FRSA and Nana K., visited the South East London SDA Church to engage with SEND families and provide guidance on EHCP and DLA applications, as well as other areas of support.

This marked our second visit to the church, where we were delighted to witness the launch of the new “Possibilities” department—an inspiring initiative dedicated to welcoming and supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Our team also set up a resource stall featuring educational materials, sensory toys, and practical information on inclusive teaching and parenting. The Children’s Department purchased several of these items to strengthen their learning environment.

The visit underscored the power of collaboration and the importance of creating inclusive spaces where every child is valued and celebrated for their unique abilities.
