Breast Cancer Awareness Walkathon

Breast Cancer Awareness Walkathon

In October 2025, the GUBA Foundation in collaboration with Dorothy’s Hope Foundation, hosted a community walk to raise awareness about breast cancer and women’s health.

Over 200 participants joined the walk, which concluded at the AMA grounds with inspiring talks from survivors and health professionals. The event also featured free breast screening, vital checks, HIV and Hepatitis B testing, and health education sessions.

We are grateful to our partners for their generous support and refreshments that helped make the day both impactful and enjoyable.

Breast Screening Event at Sonotech Medical Centre

As part of our October Breast Cancer Awareness activities, the GUBA Foundation partnered with Sonotech Medical Centre to offer free breast screening and wellness checks for women.

Participants benefited from breast examinations, mammograms, ultrasoundscans, Hepatitis B and HIV testing, and vital checks, all aimed at encouraging early detection and preventive healthcare. This initiative formed part of our ongoing effort to promote health awareness and empower women through knowledge.

hered in the serene courtyard to enjoy an evening of film, community, and purpose, all in support of the Challenged Children Foundation.

The event went beyond entertainment; it served as a fundraising initiative to ensure children with special needs receive the care and resources they deserve. From cozy seating and delicious food to the heartwarming atmosphere, every detail contributed to a memorable night.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to La Villa Boutique Hotel and to all our generous supporters who made this impactful evening possible.
