GUBA Foundation Outreach: Supporting the Chosen Children’s Home in Accra

On Saturday, 10th May 2025, the GUBA Foundation embarked on a heartwarming outreach visit to the Chosen Children’s Home in Darkuman, Accra. This initiative was part of our ongoing commitment to supporting underprivileged communities and fostering connections between the diaspora and the local population.

The visit was marked by the donation of essential food items and clothing, generously provided by a member of the Ghanaian diaspora. These items were handed over by the GUBA Foundation team, who spent the day interacting with the children and staff at the home.

Beyond the material support, the day was filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful moments as the team engaged in conversations, games, and activities with the children. The experience highlighted the importance of emotional connection and presence, in addition to charitable giving.

The Chosen Children’s Home, a haven for vulnerable children, continues to do incredible work in providing shelter, care, and hope for the future. The GUBA Foundation is proud to stand in solidarity with such institutions, helping to bridge the gap between diasporans who wish to give back and the communities that benefit.
