Julia Yun Hulme is the Managing Director of Omnia Strategy LLP, a law firm she co-founded with Cherie Blair CBE, KC in 2011. Julia’s practice focuses on delivering strategic advice to business leaders, Governments, and private clients around the world. Combining a broad legal perspective with a detailed understanding of communications, public policy, and diplomacy, Julia provides key strategic advice on international disputes with a particular focus on Sub-Saharan Africa.

Previously, Julia was Deputy General Counsel for a large African oil company responsible for overseeing a varied portfolio including arbitration, corporate governance, mergers, and acquisitions, compliance, and restructuring.  Julia began her legal career as a senior legal clerk for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Hawaii. She gained experience in alternative dispute resolution at several leading law firms in Hong Kong, Paris, Sydney, and New York before working at a leading US law firm in London.

Julia is a dual-qualified US attorney and UK solicitor with over 20 years of experience. After graduating from Yale with honours in Political Science and International Relations, she earned her law degree from New York University School of Law and is admitted to the New York Bar. She is also admitted to the roll of England and Wales and is an accredited mediator.  She is currently an Advisor to Concordia, a non-profit organisation dedicated to actively fostering, elevating and sustaining cross-sector partnerships for social impact, and has been appointed as a Trustee for the Jersey Advisory and Conciliation Service.  Previously, Julia was a Women’s Board Member of Children in Crisis UK established by Sarah, Duchess of York and a Trustee for Action4Youth charity.  She lives in Jersey, Channel Islands with her husband Jon and two children, Montgomery and Remington.
